Yellowjackets season 3: The past will come back to hunt you in the new season of SHOWTIME's drama
Yellowjackets has been an unhinged wild ride for its first two seasons, and season 3 of the hit SHOWTIME series isn't going to let up
Popverse's top stories of the day
- Ryan Gosling is in talks to star in the new Star Wars movie developed by Deadpool & Wolverine's Shawn Levy
- Mandalorian & Quantumania star Katy O'Brian is headed to Emerald City Comic Con 2025!
- The MCU needs Anya Taylor-Joy's Magik in it (and not just for the X-Men connection)
It's hard to think of a wilder show on television right now than SHOWTIME's Yellowjackets. I mean, how many shows are out there that have you hoping that the characters won't cannibalize an infant child? In this sense, Yellowjackets is utterly original.
Just in time for Valentine's Day, season 3 of Yellowjackets will be released on February 14, 2025. You can watch the show on Paramount+ with a SHOWTIME subscription. Season 3 of the show has big questions left over from season 2 to answer, and we get a glimpse of the horrors yet to come in a teaser trailer. You can check it out below.
What's also notable about season 3 of Yellowjackets is that Academy Award-winning actress Hilary Swank will be joining the cast. She can be seen in the teaser trailer, looking bloody and horrified. Considering that the actress won an Oscar for her role in Million Dollar Baby, where she played a boxer, I hope the grownup versions of the Yellowjackets characters realize that Ms. Swank is not to be trifled with.
While we won't have to wait much longer for the release of Yellowjackets season 3, we can't help but wonder who will be making it out alive this season. The second season saw the girls and even the coach accepting cannibalism as a means of survival. Will that lead to more of them getting killed off this season? Only time will tell.
Yellowjackets season 3 will begin streaming on February 14, 2025.
