Thinking about funeral planning? Helluva Boss’s Brandon Rogers has a morbidly delicious idea for his last performance (and the meal)

Helluva Boss’ Brandon Rogers’ dream funeral – being served to his guests as the main course.

You never know what would happen at a Hazbin Hotel panel. The cast have been known to go off the rails, and that’s just what happened during Emerald City Comic Welcome to the Chaos: Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss with Alex Brightman and Brandon Rogers' on the ECCC 2025 Main Stage powered by Xfinity.

The conversation drifted to death, which isn’t off brand for Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss. However, Brandon Rogers, an actor for both animated shows, took things a step further. “I fully hope I get one of those creepy morticians that does all kind of things. Like, turn me into a soup. I don’t give a fuck. I’m dead,” Rogers says.

And Rogers has an interesting idea of what to do with that soup next. “Since we’re on this train of thought, I want to be baked into all the hors d’oeuvres at my fucking funeral. When they go home, they’ll say, ‘The food was good, but why was it closed casket.’ Everyone left with a little bit of me in them. I want to be done and then cooked.”

Rogers has also planned out how his final moments are going to go. “I’m going to be a hot dead body. They say you bloat, and you shrink, and you piss, and shit. I’m going to do all those things, not where you think, but not where you’re hoping.”

“The last thing I say when I’m a disgusting blob before I die, ‘Someone better fuck me.’” Rogers says.

Honestly, those are memorable last words. I dig that energy, even if I’m hesitant about letting Rogers handle the catering at any of my social functions.
