There are so many comics out there and so little time to keep track of all the upcoming comics you'd want to check out. But you're in luck! Popverse is here with a guide to what we think are going to be the most significant, biggest, and best comics coming to a comic shop or book shop (or even to an online comics streaming service) near you.

While the list will never be truly comprehensive (even our team can't keep track of every single comic being published), we hope that it will give readers a good place to start and a little bit of a sneak peek into what we think will be worth reading.

What day do new comics come out?

The best answer is that comics come out every day. The type of comics known as comic books mainly come out on Wednesdays at comic shops, while graphic novels come out on Tuesdays in bookstores, comic shops, and online bookstores. Other forms of comics such as comic strips, political cartoons, webtoons, and digital comics come out on whatever day the creator and their publisher decide is best.

Every day there are new comics that are just released, somewhere in the world. And that's a great thing, right?

Who made Star Wars comics?

Star Wars comics have been published by a variety of companies over the years, but currently they are published primarily by Marvel Comics and Dark Horse Comics, with graphic novels also released intermittently by VIZ Media,  Yen Press, and Disney-Lucasfilm Press.

How to read comics?

There are two ways to read comics - which in fact is the same way you read text. For those in countries where you typically read left-to-right (such as in the English language), you read comics from the top left panel to the right, then down to the next line, and so forth and so forth. Adn in countries where you typically read right-to-left (such as those whose primary language is Japanese), you read comics from the top right panel to the left, then down to the next line, and so forth and so forth.

When comics are translated into other languages - especially those who read in a different direction than the original language's direction - in some cases the comic is changed to the new language's reading patterns, while other times its kept the same out of respect for the original comic's culture and storytelling style.
