Some people call them Renaissance creators, others call them multi-hyphenates, but here in comics we just call them cartoonists: people who write, draw, and color their own work - heck, some of them even letter, design, and publish it as well. These DIY warriors hold a special place in comics, and especially in the world of YA comics. At Emerald City Comic Con 2022, cartoonists Hope Larson and Liana Kangas gathered together to talk about doing it all - and giving themselves that much deserved pat on the back.
