Harrison Ford endorses the next Indiana Jones actor to pick up the fedora and whip (well, the next *voice* actor)
At the Game Awards 2024, Harrison Ford praised Troy Baker, who plays the titular character in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. I guess you could say his performance... belongs in a museum

Check your plane for snakes and punch your local Nazi, the leather coat and fedora have been passed. Well, in the latest Indiana Jones video game, at least. In the newest gaming entry to the franchise, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, popular voice actor Troy Baker takes over the role of the world's hottest archeologist (OK, it's a tie with Lara Croft), and at the 2024 Game Awards, the man who first brought him to life sang his praises. As reported by PC Gamer, Harrison Ford approves of Baker's Indie.
This year's edition of The Game Awards, an annual tradition dating back to 2014, took place on December 12. During the announcement of the Award for Best Performance (congrats to Melina Juergens for Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2), the crowd was surprised to see Han Solo himself, Harrison Ford, take the stage to present the winner. But Jeurgens wasn't the only person to get good news from Ford.
"I think this guy did a great job," Ford said of Baker, who had joined him on stage. "If I'd known he was so good, I would have done it myself!"
It must've been an incredible moment for prolific voice actor Troy Baker, but it was hardly the only time that he's gotten to play a historic pop culture icon. Amongst many others, Baker has done the voice for Conan the Barbarian, Loki, Batman and Joker, and most importantly to me, Slimer from Ghostbusters: The Video Game. As of this writing, there's no word on what Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Hiddleston, Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, or the puppet that was Slimer have to say about Baker's performances.
Harrison Ford is POTUS again, but not in real life (I know, if only). At San Diego Comic Con 2024, he talked about how his Captain America: Brave New World role differs from the president in Air Force One.
